Marlo is operated by ANICCA LLC. Marlo is a budgeting and expense-tracking app that helps you see what's safe to spend after your bills, budgets, and savings are set aside.
Marlo stores the transactions you log, the categories and monthly budgets you set, your recurring income and bill rules, your savings goals and deposits, the name and answers you entered during onboarding, your language and display preferences, your reminder settings, and your subscription status. That's it.
All data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate our own server, and your financial entries never leave your device. Marlo does not require an account.
Marlo does not connect to your bank accounts, credit bureaus, lenders, or payment cards. Everything in Marlo is what you chose to enter by hand.
If you choose to purchase Marlo Pro, payment and subscription status are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. RevenueCat is our only third-party subprocessor. It receives an anonymous app identifier and the purchase receipt needed to verify and restore your subscription. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, transactions, budgets, goals, or full payment card details.
If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No notification data is sent to us or to any third party. You can turn it off anytime in Settings.
Marlo does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or any form of activity tracking. We do not use cookies or device fingerprinting. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.
Marlo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used Marlo, contact us and we will help remove any associated data.
You can erase all your data at any time from Settings → Reset, or by deleting the app — both remove the entire local database. To cancel a subscription, use Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Marlo is a budgeting tool and does not provide financial, legal, tax, credit, or investment advice.
